Someplace in between “Wall of Eyes” and beginning manufacturing on a $100 million, Leonardo DiCaprio-starring function, Paul Thomas Anderson routed one more video for The Smile, whose 2nd cd starts its rollout this weekend break. This most recent, “Friend of a Friend,” takes a smaller-scale strategy, allowing children (some of whom were undoubtedly not to life when Radiohead’s last document launched) uncover the amazing abilities of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood.
The band, including Tom on drums, taped Wall surface of Eyes in between Oxford and Abbey Roadway Studios, with manufacturing and blending by Sam Petts-Davies. It includes string plans by the London Contemporary Band.
Take a look at the video and cd art listed below while we wait for more word on simply whatever Anderson’s capturing with DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Regina Hall. (Mr. Anderson, if you read this: fire me an e-mail.)
