Billed as the late Lee “Scratch” Perry’s last workshop cd, King Perry consists of tracks the dub tale dealt with till days prior to his fatality in 2021. In addition to Perry’s partner in the workshop, manufacturer Daniel Boyle, the cd includes singing payments from Difficult, Satisfied Mondays’ Shaun Ryder, and Greentea Peng, to name a few. On cd better “Goodbye,” the last tune Perry taped, “his lyrics have him musing about going back to being a baby and being reborn,” Boyle claimed in press products. “When the music stops, he just says ‘goodbye.’”

The Paranoid Design is the DC-based rock clothing of vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, labor coordinator, and at some point reporter Elizabeth Nelson. The team’s follow-up to 2022’s For Exec Fulfilling was motivated by ZZ Top’s Remover, a cd developed out of “Billy Gibbons’ incipient fascination with Depeche Mode and Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark, and his desire to embroider the sound of those bands onto the Top’s inimitable Texas boogie,” as Nelson placed it in press products. “To me it sounds like heaven.”

The current from Spanish DJ and manufacturer Cookin Heart is a partnership with Atlanta rap artist Tha God Fahim. Supreme Dump Tale: Chef Heart Legend includes the Argentine-born rap artist Dano, Canada’s Raz Fresco, and New York rap artist the Musalini. The new cd complies with Tha God Fahim’s numerous 2023 tasks, consisting of Iron Bull, Chess Relocations, and the Mach-Hommy cooperation Notorious Dump Legends, Vol. 2.
